Exploring the whole effects of migration in sending countries (Ecuador-Spain)

Type of the publication:

The evolution of migration in Spain offers an excellent setting for researching migration dynamics. In this context in which Spain has established itself as a migration destination, the Ecuadorian immigration is a particularly interesting case study. The approach of a double survey in Madrid and Quito is an innovative stand point that will allow a better understanding of migration dynamics, its effects on the welfare of migrants and origin households and, above all, of the factors that promote or inhibit the return of immigrants.
